Prophetic Insight from Michael Shamp
Out of the old, God will call forth his prophets and servants to speak to dry bones; life and breath of the Spirit, out of the four corners of Eden into the two spirits of the latter day witnesses. For the former and latter rain will fall on the earth for the next move of God, the End Time Harvest.
The Fathers Eyes
In this year 2011, the Father's eyes are no longer roaming to and fro, (2 Chron. 16:9); but they have found the sons and daughters that love Him. Malachi 4:5-6 says, "The spirit of Elisha will come and turn the hearts (eyes) of the fathers to the children, and the hearts (eyes) of the children to the fathers." What happens in the natural has already happened in the spiritual realm. What His eyes look to, His hands touch.
When the head is lifted up, the whole body follows. The eyes look up, and when they do, they see the Father; they arise and become awakened to the will of the Father. John 1:5-6 states, "in Him was life and the light shines on in darkness." We are now looking into the eyes of the Father, and we know that what we look at we become (full of light and life).
What we love, we always put our attention to, or in other words, our eyes on. Love worships the one it puts its' eyes on. We are awakening to the love and life of the Father. Arise, shine for thy light has come, rise to a new life (Is. 60:1)!
Eyes Opened Wide
Now Peter, John and James were weighed down with sleep, but when they were fully awake they saw His glory, splendor, majesty, and brightness (Luke 9:29-32). God has come to awaken us out of sleep so that we can see clearly. It was said that when they awoke, they saw Jesus in his glory, but they also saw two men who stood with Him.
When we gaze into the eyes of God, all darkness flees and we start to see, hear and speak the purposes of God. We see his purposes in His Glory, in a higher revelation. God is lifting the head of his body higher. The eyes first, then the ears will hear what He is speaking, and then our mouths will be clear oracles of God, to speak of the things that we clearly see and hear.
Out of dry Ground
The ground has been dry and cursed (Malachi 4:6). Yes, we have seen some time of refreshing and revival but it has not lasted. God is not looking for just revival, but God is and has always looked for a resting place and a people to dwell with. A place that he said He could rest His feet, and that place of rest is this earth in you and me. We are earthen vessels (Eph. 2:22). God said that when He turned the hearts (eyes) of the Fathers and sons toward each other, His heart (eye) would turn toward us and the curse would be broken off the land.
Isaiah 53:2 said that he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground. Jesus grew up out of dryness but even though the earth (us) was dry, Jesus was lifted to a higher dimension by the Spirit of the Lord. Jesus said that the Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me (Is. 61:1). This Spirit is the spirit of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord (Is. 11:2). Because the eye of the body has not seen clearly, we have walked upon the tender planting of the Lord. What God has desired to do through, and in us, we have trodden upon.
1 Corinthians 12:15-18 says, "if the ear or the foot shall say, because I am not the hand or the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body is an eye, where is the hearing? If the whole body is hearing, where is the smelling?"
The foot of the gospel has been in the garden of the Lord with no eyes to see where to step. The foot has trodden down the tender plantings of the Lord in the earth and the hands of the body have not touched the poor of spirit in a way for them to be healed. How can the hand of the body touch tenderly what needs to be healed, if the ear does not hear rightly or the eye see where to touch or the foot get the body where it needs to be on the earth?
This is not another word about the five fold ministry (Eph. 4:11-13), but rather, when the sons of thunder, with Peter were weighed down with sleep, and when they were fully awake, they saw His glory, splendor, majesty, and brightness. That in itself is good, but who did they see? They saw the spirit of two men that had not died, but were caught up into Eden (Luke 9:32).
The spirit in the Witnesses
"Come and let us return to the Lord, for He has torn, so that He may heal us; He has stricken so that He may bind us up. After two days He will revive us (quicken us, give us life); on the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him" (Hosea 6:1-2).
The spirit that is in the two witnesses in (Luke 9:32) are the ones that will stand before the Lord in these last days, before the days of the tribulation. They are the ones that will be touched by God; they are the ones that are prophesied to in Ez. 37:10. As they were prophesied to and the breath and Spirit came into their dry bones, they lived and stood up on their feet. They are the forerunners and out of these will the two great witnesses arise.
In Revelation 11:11 says that after three and a half days, by Gods gift, the breath of life again entered into them, and they rose up to their feet and great dread and terror fell on those who watched them because they could not be killed. In Revelation 11:5-6 the two witnesses possessed a spirit that stood before the Lord and they could not be injured. Fire pours from their mouths and consumes their enemies. These two witnesses have the power to shut up the sky, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying (the prediction of events relating to Christ Kingdom and its speedy triumph), they also have power to turn the water into blood and to smite and scrounge the earth with all matter of plagues as often as they choose.
What I am trying to convey to you is not about the two witnesses of the tribulation, but what kind of spirit and power was in them that they possessed. They could stand before the Lord and stand against the powers of darkness. This spirit I believe comes from Ezekiel 37:15-19.
The stick of Judah and the children of Israel, and his companions; then take another stick and write upon it, for Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and his companions and join them together. The stick of Joseph and Judah shall be one stick! One stick of Grace and Beauty is called Joseph; the other stick of Bands and Union is called Judah. The stick of Judah is the rope that is twisted together, called a pledge to be united to the Lord in a covenant and twisted to Josephs stick. Joseph's staff, Grace and Beauty is the kindness of the Lord where God kneels down to us in kindness and raises our head and we find favor in his sight called redemption.
We are being awakened as Peter, James, John and also as Zechariah was awakened (Zech. 4:1); he saw the two olive trees causing them to supply a ceaseless amount of oil from the bowl to the candlestick (the church).
Zechariah 4:6 is the word of the Lord to Zerubbable, saying, not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit. The spirit that is in Zerubbable is the Spirit of the Lord, the seven spirits of Isaiah 11:1-2 and they shall rejoice because Zerubbable shall bring forth the finishing gable stone of the new temple with loud shouting's of the people crying, Grace, Grace.
Zechariah was so intrigued by the spirit and power of the two witnesses that he asked the angel a second time, what are these two olive branches? The angel answered him saying, these are the two sons of oil [Joshua the high priest and Zerubbable the prince of Judah, the two anointed ones] who stand before the Lord of the whole earth.
The stick of Joseph is the one that even though he was sold into slavery, he overcame all adversity. He became the one to save not only his Father's house but those that were of a nation not of his own, but were gentiles, a people that knew not the God of Israel, lost in themselves and traditions of men and idol worship that had no power to deliver them and save them or bring them into relationship with the one true God of heaven and earth. Truly Joseph is the one with the coat from heaven, the multifaceted ways of God, the coat of many colors.
The stick of Zerubbable is the prince of praise (Judah). This is God's anointed instrument. Praise was the interments of God's sword that brought down all adversaries and Kingdoms with their systems that led Israel into the promise land of milk and honey.
The Servants of the Oil and Wine
The servants of the oil and wine are the ones that will have the spirit of the two men of Eden. They will have the spirit of the olive branch that carries the seven spirits of God. These servants will not despise the day of small things. They will lay the new foundation of the Lord. The old man (church) and his way might cry, but it will not stop the shouts of Joy of what God is now doing in these last days.
The servants of the oil and wine will allow the ceaseless supply of oil to flow from the olive tree to bind up and heal the wounds of the nations. The servants will grant consolation and joy to those who mourn-to give them an ornament of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of [expressive] praise instead of a heavy burden, and of a failing spirit. They will be called oaks of righteousness, lofty, strong, and magnificent.
This is what the servants of the oil and wine will be like; they will be like the good Samaritan of Luke 10:30-35 that traveled along by the Spirit of God. He will not be sent out by coincidence like the priest but the servants will know and have a mandate from God with power of healing and the Word of the Lord written in their hearts by the Holy Spirit. They will not have a great name and be known by the Christian church, but rather pouring themselves out to a people and the nations, coming into the church to be refreshed, poured into, to be blessed, and sent back out.
They will have the face of Jesus, a Spirit without measure, the planting of the Lord in dry ground not stepping on the tender plants of the Lord. They will not break the bruised reed, a smoldering (dimly burning) wick they will not quench till justice and victory comes into the world.
They will do the greater work of Christ (John 14:12), because they will steadfastly believe in Christ and the calling of God in their lives. They will no longer pass on the other side of the road because of fear and a hard heart with no anointing, but they will pour the oil (anointing) without measure, dressing the wounds, and through the wine of the Spirit, speaking forth words of power to heal and deliver.
They will carry the healing to the people and nations on their own beast (anointing) from the Lord. They will not look for another man of God to bring the anointing, but rather out of them will flow the river of God, (His resurrection power). They will do the work of the ministry and pray to God and the Holy Spirit will heal the blind, open the deaf ear, and raise the dead. They will have free access to the nine gifts of the Spirit to apply the right gift (oil) to the right bruise or cut to be healed.
This is the year for the Servants of the Oil and Wine to go to the lost and hurting people, whether in the nations or at the grocery store, healing and bringing deliverance without any agendas on their part, saving souls not in words only, but in demonstration of the power of God.
If this word has spoken to you, then I release this word into your spirit by the power of God to bring change into your life and bring you into your calling with power and demonstration of the Spirit- to produce change in the people around you with Miracles, Signs and Wonders.
Blessings in Christ,
Michael Shamp
