Word of the Month- July

The Spirit of Faith is the force that carries us to our destinies in God. It is the force behind our speech that gives us confidence to speak during the storms of life. God never called us to be moved by what we see, only to walk by faith in what we say. There is a walk that translates us to another realm in this life and allows us to walk above the situation. It's the walk of faith. And although we don't go by what we feel we certainly feel the force that carries us to where we are called to go, Victory. There is only victory in your faith.

Most people misunderstand those that walk by faith. Mistaking what is pure confidence in God for pride, but what they don't understand is that faith is the confidence of things hoped for. While many are drowning from fear in the storms of life they find you asleep on the boat confident in the words that you have spoken. Let us go to the other side! The substance that we are possessed with is that which moves mountains, silences storms, and breaks human barriers. Welcome to the God-Kind of Faith.

Jesus was overtaken by this faith and it caused him to manifest a dimension of the supernatural that had not yet been seen on the earth. Jesus walked this earth the same way all Christians are called to walk, by faith (2 Cor. 5:7). He never did one miracle or performed one sign and wonder as God. The Bible lays out this cold hard truth; that Jesus laid down his deity when he came into the earth that he might destroy the works of satan as a man (Jn. 1:14, Acts 10:38, Phil. 2:6-8, Heb. 2:14, Heb. 2:16-17).

Christ was the second Adam, a life giving spirit to all who would believe on Him (1 Jn. 3:8, 1 Cor. 15:45). God is not a law breaker and because he had given man dominion over the earth he would come as a man and reclaim what belonged to us as one of us (Genesis 1:26). The force of Faith pulled Jesus to His purpose and caused him to live out his destiny.

Throughout His life he was faced with tests and hardships, but recognized the source of the tests as demonic in nature (Heb. 2:18, Heb. 4:15) sadly many in the Church today cast their tests and trails off as something that God is doing to make them more anointed. The problem with this thinking is that you have already been made full of Christ (Col. 2:10). God's not working on you; He is working in you (Phil. 2:13, Col. 1:29 AMP). It's time to tap into what you have! Recognize your enemy; he came to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn.10:10). Jesus recognized His enemy and took every opportunity to render him powerless.

What we have to realize is that the God-kind of Faith is not something you have to earn, it's something you have already been given (2 Cor. 4:13). Faith is your victory that overcomes the spirit of the age. Christ has fully redeemed you and made you perfect before the sight of God (Rom. 3:22-28 Amp.) and gave us an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness that we might reign as kings in this life by Him (Rom. 5:17). He called you to walk as He walked in this life (1 Jn. 2:6, Col. 2:6) speaking to the earth as a son of God manifesting His goodness in this world.

Despite so many believers wishing they could just tap their little gospel shoes on into heaven with a mantra of “there is no place like home,” I see a company of believers that have a different mind set. The disciples saw a man with a different mind set when Jesus spoke to the storm and commanded it to stop. They couldn't wrap their brains around what they had just witnessed, a man that can talk to storms. They said what kind of man is this? This is a man with authority, power, and a different kind of mind.

IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN

You have been called to lose your mind in God. That's right, to be whacked in the spirit of your mind is a highway or pathway to the God-kind of life. That old carnal nature with its thoughts and actions doesn't belong to you anymore. Its time you took him off (Eph. 4:22-24). The carnal mind is at enmity against God and can only lead the believer to a path of destruction and death. There is a mind that thinks on a different grid, it lives in the heavens and has life and peace (Rom. 8:6-7, IS. 26:3). This mind thinks and meditates on things that are above where Christ is seated. It's the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16).

God's mind is a mind without limitations. It thinks and imagines the impossible. It speaks the invisible and sees beyond the natural. You have been given that mind. It is your responsibility to renew it by the Word and use it. It's time for you to begin to dream big, imagine the impossible and see the invisible; if you can dream it he will do it. Yet not only what you dream of but far above that (Eph. 3:20 AMP). It's in you!

Most people dream too small. They think too small. They imagine on a level that they can achieve without the help of God. They believe for little, so they get little. What is impossible with man is possible with God. What man can't create or see is in the imagination of God. It's all in His mind. Things that have not yet been invented or imagined are there waiting on you to discover by setting your thoughts on the things that are above. Go to where the creator of all thing lives. Change your thought life to imagine the things that are impossible becoming possible through Him. See yourself as God sees you, unlimited in this life through His power that is at work in you. You can do all things through Christ because as a man thinks in his heart so is he. You were called to go where you could never take yourself. So follow your heart!

IF I ONLY HAD A NEW HEART

Genesis tells us that we were formed and fashioned in the likeness and image of God. These words likeness and image are literal in meaning. You look like your Father, but because of the sin of Adam our hearts were made as hard as stone. Ezekiel prophesied of a new covenant that God would make with man through the death of Christ. In this covenant God would take away a heart of stone and give us a heart of flesh and wash with pure water making us clean from our filthiness (Ezek. 36:25-27).

This heart that Ezekiel speaks of is a heart like God's, clean and pure. Most Christians feel that their hearts are evil and corrupt and can never be good, but the moment that you asked Christ to come into your life He removed that heart of stone and gave you a new heart of flesh. This is a heart that beats for righteousness. Psalms 24 speaks of those that will ascend the mountain of God and they must have clean hands and pure hearts. While many are trying to become pure through works and regulations set by religion and traditions of men, those that believe by faith in what Christ has done walk a pathway of gold all the way up the mountain of God. We were always called to see God (Matt. 5:8) and faith is your highway to see the King. We have been given boldness to enter in to the holy of holies through this new and living way which is by the Blood of Jesus Christ (Heb. 10:19-20, Heb. 10:22-23). You where called to live a bold triumphant life today! God never gave us a spirit of fear, but the spirit that we are possessed with is one of power, love, and a sound mind.

Bold AS Lions

There is so much boldness in faith that it propels you to do the impossible no matter the circumstance or the situation. Simply put, faith produces boldness that causes action to take place in the believer's life. The believers in the book of Acts prayed for boldness after they were faced with great persecution by the Pharisees. Boldness came so strong on these men that the very place where they were praying began to shake under their bold decrees of faith for miracles through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:29-31). We have the same access to the Kingdom as these men did. It just takes boldness to activate it and as we begin to boldly declare the Word of God we will see great miracles of faith and power in our generation. Today is your day to believe the impossible and see it manifest in the now! Step out on faith, it is the road of limitless possibilities.

Blessings in Christ,
