Word of the Month- September
We are at a time in history where the Word of God says that men will not want to lead because of the condition of the worlds system (Isaiah 51:18). The system that the world has put there confidence in has failed. This system has put men in bondage just like it did when Israel lived in Egypt. This was why the people were crying out for God to show them his Glory for it was God’s Glory that did the great miracle, signs and wonders that brought Israel out of bondage.
God said to Moses, "and I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people" (Lev. 26:12). This is what men and women have been searching for ever since the fall of Adam.
We remember the words of God which called out to Adam, "Adam where are you?" We remember when God said that he walked with Adam in the cool of the day. God’s Glory was walking with Adam, even permeating Adam as he walked with God. God’s Glory was around, on and in him, there was no restraint or restriction put on Adam, he was one with God. I believe that God is calling out in this hour just as he did in Mathew 16:13, "Who do men say that I am?" Jesus replies to Simon that it was God himself that reviled to him that Jesus was the Son of God. Jesus because of this says to Simon that he calls him Peter and upon this rock I will build my church. I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven. God wants to reveal his Kingdom to us as he did to Peter. There was a name change that God gave to Simon and the keys to the kingdom of heaven. His name is not called Simon any more but he was known from that moment on as Peter. At that point in Simon's life it seemed that God reviled himself to him and this revelation came by no other source, but by God himself.
In John 17:3 Jesus himself said, "This is life eternal that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." Jesus wants us to know God. Philip said unto the Lord show us the Father. In John 14:8 -11 Jesus says "Have I been so long a time with you, and yet hast thou not known me Philip? He that has seen me hath seen the Father, and how sayest thou then show us the father?" Jesus then gives us a key that has been missed by many people, but I believe God is beginning to reveal it to His body in these last days. Jesus says to his disciples, "Belivest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself; but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the works sake." Philip was saying to Jesus we can see you and we know you but where is your Father? Where is God? We want to know him; we want him to be with us as you are with us. We can touch and see you; your Glory is with us! Show us God and his Glory. Remember Leviticus 26:12, And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people. Jesus died so that you could be that sanctuary.
It was through Jesus death and resurrection from the dead and his blood (The face of Jesus) that we now have not only access to the Father, but through the blood we are now the temple of the living God; God hath said in 2 Corinthians 6:16, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people does this sound familiar? The revelation that God said that he dwells in us is that not only does he live in us but we are the containers of his Glory. God lives in us and his Glory lives in us. We are Glory walkers where ever we go we revile heaven and the Glory of God is reveled through us. Jesus has fulfilled his commission know are we the children of God. We carry the fullness of God we bring the manifest Glory of God to the earth in and through miracles, signs and wonders. Jesus said, "But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the Kingdom of God is come upon you." We are the hands, fingers eyes, feet and mouth of God in this earth as was Christ. Romans 8:18 says that the Glory of God shall be revealed in us for the creature (creation) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Right now God has given us his Glorious liberty as his sons and daughters, children of God on earth. We do not just have Jesus in us or just the Holy Spirit but we have the God head in us the Father Son and Holy Spirit. Paul said in Ephesians 3:19, and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. It was this love of Christ that died for us on the cross so that God could dwell in us so that we would be complete in him!
Blessings in Christ,
